ADMISSION TO ST. GEORGE KINDERGARTEN
Application Form submission. The application form is considered valid when it contains full information required for each of the sections.
Admission decision – The Admission and Communication Manager notifies the parents for the availability of vacancies in the group they are applying for, within 7 business days of receipt of the Application Form.
2.1. Within 10 days of receipt of confirmation for admission and setting the starting date, the parents have to sign the contract and pay the deposit (it is subject to reimbursement upon leaving the kindergarten) and the first tuition fee. The birth certificate of the student has to be presented upon signing of the contracts.
2.2. In case there are no vacancies at the date of submission of the Admission application, the parents may request their inclusion in the waiting list by submitting an e-mail request. When a new group is formed or a place is released in the respective age group, the parents are notified in the order of submission of the request for inclusion in the waiting list.
2.3. If parents submit an Admission application, in which the preferred date of admission in the kindergarten is after the start of the school year, they owe a fee for saving the place in the amount of 200 euro per month from the date of signing the Contract for education until the date of the child's enrollment. The contract should be signed within 14 days after the date of admission is fixed and after receiving an opinion from the kindergarten that the child can be enrolled.
Before the first day of attendance, but not earlier than 3 days before the admission date, the parents need to submit obligatory medical documentation.
For the first enrollment in a child institution it is necessary to prepare the following documents:
- Result of stool test for intestinal helminths;
- Result of stool test for Shigella, Salmonella and pathogenic coli;
- Result of perianal tape impressions to diagnose pinworms;
- Blood and urine test results;
- Note from the child’s physician stating that the Child is in good health (the note is valid for 3 days after it has been issued);
- Personal health card (filled in by the Child’s physician);
- Vaccination pasport of the child (the child should have all the vaccinations according to the Bulgarian vaccination calendar; translation into Bulgarian is necessary for foreign citizens);
- Wassermann and HIV test result of one of the parents for admitted children younger than 3 years of age.
- St. George International School & Preschool Health declaration form.
When transferring a child from another child institution having no more than 7 calendar days gap in the attendances, it is necessary to prepare the following documents:
- Health card of the child, filled in the previous child institution with last date of attendance;
- Note from the child’s physician stating that the Child is in good health (the note is valid for 3 days after it has been issued);
- Personal health card;
- Vaccination pasport of the child (the child should have all the vaccinations according to the Bulgarian vaccination calendar; translation into Bulgarian is necessary for foreign citizens);
- St. George International School & Preschool Health declaration form.
