Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education
Since the beginning of the new school year, the lower secondary students of St. George International School and Preschool have started studying a new subject – “Personal, social, health and economic education”. The new content will enrich their knowledge and skills for a healthier, safer, and more balanced lifestyle.
Last week, our Wellbeing team kicked off the first classes by presenting the concept of “Change”. Since the students are in different stages of growing up, the adaptive process of new places was the focus of the education. Either it will be a new school, new country, new friendship, or in general – a whole new environment.
During this week’s PSHE lessons, the head of school, Mr. Leo Buckley, delivered lectures to the students on how to stay safe when online, and how to be aware of all potential risks that the internet hides.
