All children between 2 and 5 years of age can be enrolled at St. George Preschool based on the submitted documents.
The procedure of admission is being coordinated by the Admission Manager. It includes:
Application Form submission. The application form is considered valid when it contains full information required for each of the sections.
Admission decision The Admission and Communication Manager notifies the parents for the availability of vacancies in the group they are applying for, within 7 business days of receipt of the Application Form.
2.1. If there is a confirmation for admission, the date of enrolment is specified.
2.2. Administrative fee payment – the Administrative fee is a one-off payment and is based on an issued invoice.
2.3. Within 10 days of receipt of confirmation for admission and payment of the Administrative fee, the parents have to sign the contract, to pay the deposit /which is to be reimbursed when leaving the Preschool/ and fees. The birth certificate of the student has to be presented upon signing the contract.
2.4. In case there are no vacancies at the date of submission of the Admission application, the parents may request their inclusion in the waiting list by submitting an e-mail request. When a new group is formed or a place is released in the respective age group, the parents are notified in the order of submission of the request for inclusion in the waiting list.
2.5. If parents submit an Admission application, in which the preferred date of admission in the preschool is after the start of the school year, they owe a fee for saving the place in the amount of 200 euro per month from the date of signing the Contract for education until the date of the child's enrollment. The contract should be signed within 14 days after the date of admission is fixed and after receiving an opinion from the preschool that the child can be enrolled.
Before the first day of attendance, but not earlier than 3 days before the admission date, the parents need to submit obligatory medical documentation.
For the first enrollment in a child institution it is necessary to prepare the following documents: Result of stool test for intestinal helminths; Result of stool test for Shigella, Salmonella and pathogenic coli; Result of perianal tape impressions to diagnose pinworms; Blood and urine test results; Note from the child’s physician stating that the Child is in good health (the note is valid for 3 days after it has been issued); Personal health card (filled in by the Child’s physician); Vaccination pasport of the child (the child should have all the vaccinations according to the Bulgarian vaccination calendar; translation into Bulgarian is necessary for foreign citizens); Wassermann and HIV test result of one of the parents for admitted children younger than 3 years of age. When transferring a child from another child institution having no more than 7 calendar days gap in the attendances, it is necessary to prepare the following documents:
Health card of the child, filled in the previous child institution with last date of attendance; Note from the child’s physician stating that the Child is in good health (the note is valid for 3 days after it has been issued); Personal health card; Vaccination passport of the child (the child should have all the vaccinations according to the Bulgarian vaccination calendar; translation into Bulgarian is necessary for foreign citizens); St. George International School and Preschool Health declaration form.
Analyzing the adaptation of the child in the group, the level of socialization and the emotional state, the preschool has the right to propose to the parents / guardians the postponement of enrollment for a later stage, transfer of the child to another educational institution and / or to terminate the contract under the conditions described in the general terms and conditions of the tuition contract.
If parents wish to terminate the child's tuition contract, they should send a written notice by email to the Admissions and Communication department and/ or Reception desk, containing the reason and desired termination date.
