World Scholar`s Cup Global Round and Global Achievements

This year, The World Scholar`s Cup Global Round once again left unforgettable memories, outstanding academic results, and unique experiences for all participants. We are proud that St. George International School initiated the holding of the tournament in Bulgaria, as its host and that together with other Bulgarian schools we became part of the global event that took place in Prague, Czech Republic. The period between August 19 and 24 was full of colourful emotions, accompanied by creative writing, debates on various topics, stage performances and a lot of knowledge. Participants from all over the world demonstrated their skills in various fields, defended these and showed enviable oratorical abilities in front of the large audience.

Together with the academic and stage programme, the children were involved in social activities that enriched their stay and contributed to their positive mood and willingness to demonstrate excellent results. On the very first evening, a dinner was organised on a ship, where everyone had the unique opportunity to enjoy breathtaking views of beautiful Prague. The competitive spirit was raised in the following days by the Scholar's Scavenge, where team play and solving challenges brought the children together and provoked their ingenuity. The cultural experience continued with the large international fair where different nationalities shared pieces of their country and traditions. Bulgaria presented a stand with traditional embroidery and souvenirs and delicious food typical of our country, with which it won many admirers who would like to visit our beautiful country. A memorable and interesting experience for the children was the organised excursion to the Safari Park, where everyone had the opportunity to meet exotic animals up close and walk among them.

World Scholar`s Cup Global Round is a real emotional experience. The event unites diverse cultures, provides an opportunity to enrich and present knowledge, and brings together hundreds of children during its attractive programme. The students from St. George International School performed brilliantly and deservedly received medals and cups, proving once again their ability to meet any challenge. We are happy with every result and wish good luck to all ranked for the upcoming 2022 Tournament of Champions in Yale, USA.
