MUSIC THEORY AND SOLFEGGIO (photo) Music teachers at St. George International School & Preschool   Music theory and solfeggio are an integral part of the growth of each musician. They help understand the logic and consistency behind each tune and song, and are mandatory for mastering any musical instrument or song. Music theory studies include the construction of chords, intervals, octave groups mode, tonality, rhythm and sizes. Part of the study of musical theory comprises guessing the intervals, chords and modes, tones by ear and musical dictation. Solfeggio develops not only the music abilities, but the correct intonation when singing. If your child has higher goals in music, these lessons are mandatory.
