Mental Health in an Unequal World
Traditionally, October 10 marks World Mental Health Day. The theme of this year’s international campaign is “Mental Health in an Unequal World”.
That’s why the wellbeing team of St. George International School and Preschool organizes a series of activities for students of different age groups during the whole week.
The primary students rolled up their sleeves in fine arts classes. They have to draw themselves both in the way they see themselves and in the way they think other people perceive them. The challenge of the task is that each group has a limited number of colors, just as each person has different resources and skills for self-expression and perception.
There are special presentations for the high school students as well. Their focus is to encourage conversations on topics such as discrimination in mental health as well as stigma.
